Home Workouts for Women
Thursday, December 22nd, 2011There are plenty home workouts for women that make it possible for you to live a busy, stay at home mom lifestyle and still work on your figure.
Now when you are thinking about finding the right set of home workouts for women when you are busy with kids, housework and other responsibilities, the last thing you may be thinking about is a strenuous workout. But what about all the things you do at home right now? Couldn’t those be considered home workouts for women, or men? The possibilities are endless; you could clean your house and get your workout in every day.
What about all those people out there jogging every day? What are they going to do on a rainy day? There probably isn’t an alternative rainy day workout, but if you find a way to integrate your daily responsibilities with home workouts for women you may be able to kill two birds with one stone, even on a rainy day. And here we have opened a few doors and opportunities for you:
Window washer for a day
This is something that you can fit into your strenuous cleaning routine about once every few months, depending on where you live. When you are going to be lifting your arms up over your head, lifting windows out of their sills, cleaning them, using all parts of your arms, shoulders and back, this is a great addition to your home workouts for women. There is no need for a gym membership when you get creative!
Dust away the day
Take one day, an entire day and do all of your dusting. And we don’t mean with one of those fancy little dusters, do it the way your mother, grandmother and great-grandmother did it; the old fashioned way. Put a little elbow grease into it and you will reap the rewards. Use a step stool, with more than one ceiling fan to clean you will be doing stair steps from home, lifting your arms, and putting some effort (and muscle) into dusting away all the grit and grime. This is another great routine to add to your home workouts for women. As hard working mothers, wives and strong women we need to take every opportunity to burn those calories and shed the pounds.
